My story
Hi, I'm grateful you stopped by! About a decade ago, I was ushered into the wellness space through my own health issues. When I consulted my doctor I didn't receive answers that felt good to me and it sent me down a path of research for my own healing. Ultimately, it created a deep passion for root cause medicine and natural healing which has transformed my life.
Epiphany that changed my life
One of the most enlightening experiences in my journey was recognizing that our bodies are always communicating with us and fighting on our behalf. I realized that from a young age we are conditioned to fear our bodies and seek external solutions. Many of those solutions are just band-aids to alleviate symptoms without ever addressing the root cause issue. It's like weight loss programs that offer temporary results but don't last because we haven't taken the time to really know ourselves, our bodies and what we need in our life. When I started understanding what my body was telling me and I began to apply trust that my body was my ally, not my enemy, when I began to make health the focus, I began to see that we have great capacity for self-healing and the ability to thrive.
Healing journey and learning
Since that original doctor visit, I have healed not only from the issues that began this incredible path in life, but I have also eliminated horrific migraines that plagued me since my twenties, severe joint pain that used to have me holding the mantel to gently kneel down to start a fire in the morning, sleep issues that left me tired, irritable and over-caffeinated to function, hormonal imbalances, depression, and energy and mood fluctuations that were stealing joy from my life.
My mission
My mission is to help others learn how to communicate with their body and develop a relationship of trust for true and sustained healing and wellness. When we don't take time to know ourselves, we create cyclical patterns of weight gain, illness and a host of other issues. Learning ourselves, what our body needs, and what we need can help us create our own master wellness plan. When we are operating in harmony with our body and with a true understanding of what it means to listen, shift and adapt according to what we need we have the ability to navigate any season of life successfully.
